Readers Cup Competition

What is the Readers Cup?

Students in Year 7 & 8 have been invited to “battle it out” in the 2019 Summer Readers Cup Championship.

The Readers Cup is a reading competition in which a team of 3 students is required to read 3 novels and go into battle (trivia comp) to be crowned Readers Cup Champions. (These novels are listed below)

The teams will come together at the end of the term to battle it out in a trivia competition with questions based on each of these books. (We will hold a team round of trivia on each book, plus an individual round where boys answer questions on all three books independently. Individual round points go towards the team tally)

There are lots of great prizes and it is a fun afternoon for all.

What do boys need to do to enter?

•   Get together a team of three players (Students unable to form a team are asked to enter and library staff will place them in a team)
•   Come up with a team name.
•   Email Mrs Roden and register you team, including the names of all team members
•   Come to the library to collect your books
•   Start reading

The top scoring team will be crowned the Readers Cup Champions.
