Athletics Carnival

Last Monday was the College Athletics carnival. The whole school travelled to the Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre. All boys were required to compete in at least the 100m sprint and 200m sprint.

It was great to see so many boys from Year 7 wanting to get involved in all the other events. To the right you can see the Athletics Convenor surrounded by Year 7 boys all trying to get one of the two remaining places in the 400m event!

The boys all partipated well and gave it their best effort, regardless of their athletic ability. There are a number of separate posts which contain some photos and videos of each event. I was able to stream some of them live on Facebook on the day but have edited them down so you can watch the highlights.

In particular I recommend that you watch the 1500m video and keep watching right until the end.
