A message from the College Psychologists:

Thursday 12^th September R U OK? Day Pastoral Group Activity

At Joeys we like to regularly remind students that if they need help, there are multiple areas of support within the school community. We also encourage boys to be there for their mates. In line with these themes, on R U OK day the College Psychologists are organising a pastoral group activity for the Year 7 students. In preparation for this pastoral activity, Year 7 will be given skills training on how they can be there for their mates, and what to do if their mate needs support (e.g. talk with the Boarding Coordinator, Academic Coordinator, College Psychologists, teachers or parents). The pastoral group activity will offer Year 7 students the opportunity to practice these skills and guidance will be provided by the College Psychologists and teachers.
