MASS FOR SAM.

On Wednesday morning Fr. Gavin offered the Mass up for Sam, Sue, Mark and their family. It was wonderful to see the entire Yr.10 group attend and be joined in thought and prayer by many other boys in various Year groups as well as College staff. We will continue this each Wednesday morning.

 

1st XV 2018 JERSEY PRESENTATION

The 2018 1st XV were presented with their jersey’s at today’s Headmaster’s Assembly by Br. Gerald Burns coach of the 1st Xv from 1962 – 1970. We wish them and all our boys every enjoyment and success for the Rugby season commencing this weekend at Shore.

CIS CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Today Barney Buffier, Charlie Cannon, Lachlan Matthews, Josh Noye and Jude Parker represented GPS at the CIS Cross Country Championships. All boys competed very admirably with Charlie gaining entry to the NSW Schools Cross Country Championships for his efforts. Congratulations to all five boys on their outstanding efforts.

 

VICTORIOUS SYNAPSE TEAM.

Congratulations to the following boys on their winning efforts in the recent College Synapse competition, which is a mixed academic competition for students across all year groups. Darcy Creagh, Nick Kochanowicz, Jack Larkin, Will Maffey, Tom Mah-Chut, Liam O’Connell, Jon Ryan and Will Seyffer were presented with their certificates at today’s Assembly by Br. Anthony.

COLLEGE CROSS COUNTRY TEAM

Congratulations to Charlie Cannon, Josh Noye and Barney Buffier for being selected in the College Cross Country Team for this season. We wish them every success and enjoyment in their competitions and are they will represent the College very proudly.

MUSIC GALA EVENING – FRIDAY 15TH JUNE.

You are warmly invited to attend the St Joseph’s College Music Gala Evening on Friday 15 June at 7pm in the Br Emilian Hall. Please find attached an invitation.
The night will feature performances from the College’s music ensembles including the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Stage Band, Big Band, Wind Ensemble, Collegium Vocale, Chamber Strings and Jazz Improvisation Ensemble, as well as solos from a number of outstanding musicians at the College.
This is not a ticketed event and RSVPs are not required.
