After the tremendous success of the last Recess cake sale (Twenty Minute Challenge) I am sending out a plea for a repeat performance! The boys have been fantastic raising funds for our Lenten Appeal to support La Valla School in Cambodia. As a final boost to the fund raising we would like to hold a cake sale on Wednesday 30 March at Recess. It would be wonderful if the following information could be communicated through the P&F body to the parents in each year group:

• Cake boxes will be available from Reception from Monday 21 March.
• All cakes to be delivered on the morning of Wednesday 30 March (first day back to school after the short Easter break).
• Cakes are delivered to your son’s ref.
• Yr 7 should deliver their cakes to the Yr8 Ref – a joint sale will take place for Yr7 and Yr8
• We are going to encourage the boys to donate $5 for a plate of 3-4 cakes; they can of course donate more!

Many thanks for your support with this. I’m sure you appreciate that the best way to the heart of a Joe-boy is through his stomach!
