Last year the Year 9 cohort donated women and baby gifts to the St Bakhita Centre for Sudanese Refugees for the Christmas Appeal.
They are in need of parent volunteers. If you can help, please see the details below.
St. Bakhita Centre for Sudanese Refugees, 2 Hornsey Rd, Homebush West (Flemington)is again in need of volunteers.
We currently operate on Wednesday to Friday; Hours are 9.30 – 12.45.
Volunteers usually volunteer for one session only.
We urgently require assistance in with the following:-
- Basic Sewing skills (on Thursday mornings)
- English – Wednesday, Thursday or Friday
- Computer Classes – Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
- Playgroup especially on Wednesdays and Fridays, please note that you must hold a Working with Children Check No.
